Southwest Florida Counties request S.E.C.S. help in improving and maintaining school system TV system.
Sarasota and Manatee Counties in SW Florida awarded contracts to S.E.C.S. for maintenance, repair and testing of Institutional Television For School (ITFS). S.E.C.S. services towers and radio frequency systems for over 80 schools within both counties.

ETA certification provides the necessary knowledge and technical skills to meet international electronics industry standards for lightwave theory, optical fiber basics, cabling & splicing, components & connectors, block diagrams & schematics and troubleshooting.

Improvements help usher-in Digital and High Definition signals.
At the beginning in 2003, S.E.C.S. was awarded a number of contracts to modify, upgrade and maintain private and university broadcast sites in North Florida. This work was for AM, FM, TV, Digital Television (DTV) and High Definition Television (HDTV) stations at Florida State University, The University of Florida, WCJB TV-20 in Gainesville, WOGK FM in Ocala, WTXL TV 40 in Tallahassee and WUFT TV-5 in Gainesville.
The scope of work included Project Management, structural upgrades to towers, including grouting of tower legs, system upgrades of antennas and lines for DTV and HDTV, grounding systems for lightning protection, and the installation, repair and maintenance of obstruction lighting systems as required by the FAA and regulated by the FCC.
