Southeastern Communication Service, Inc. was selected to design build six microwave communication sites for the South Florida Water Management District. These sites are critical for control and operation of Florida’s regional water management system, with more than 1,900 miles of canals and levees and hundreds of water control structures, helping to protect regional water supplies and alleviate flooding. Nick Artemik, Project Manager, SECS commented “We are pleased to be part of this very important system that minimizes damage from flooding, provides adequate regional water supply, and protects and restores the environment by optimally operating and maintaining the primary flood control and water supply system".
