SECS Managers Attend NATE Conference

Key managers from Southeastern Communication Service, Inc. attended the National Association of Tower Erectors conference in Orlando, Fl from 13-17 February 2006. During the conference personnel attended OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety Training. This course meets the OSHA Training Institute's requirements for the 10-Hour Construction Safety course. Students completing this course will receive a course completion card from the OSHA Training Institute. In addition to training employees on OSHA requirements and safe-work practices, many contractors are finding that this course may be necessary in order to be eligible to bid on certain projects. Course topics included: Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Stairways and Ladders, Personal Protective Equipment (including respiratory protection), Hazard Communication, Confined Spaces, Lead Hazards in Construction, Motor Vehicles/Mechanized Equipment, Fire Protection and Prevention. The National Association of Tower Erectors is a non-profit trade association dedicated to providing a unified voice for tower erection, service and maintenance companies. NATE is recognized as the industry leader in promoting safety, education and uniform practices and procedures.
