Emergency Generator Systems Installed to Support Critical Communications on Florida Highways
Southeastern Communication Service, Inc. was awarded the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) contract to provide critical emergency generator systems and surge protection upgrades for six FDOT microwave communication sites. SECS also modified and upgraded one existing generator owned by FDOT. SECS submitted signed and sealed construction plans for FDOT approval that included the location and installation requirements for generators, fuel tanks, automatic transfer switches, TVSS devices, grounding, cabling, conduits and fuel lines.
